Description
These gloves are acceptable as part of the compulsory safety equipment worn by speed skaters at competitions. Worth the extra money if you’re skating is fast enough to put your left hand down on the ice when cornering as the tip reduce the friction of fingertips on the ice.
Be careful removing the ‘snow’ from your blades when you put your blade guards on as you get off the ice. Sharp blades can cut these.
Compulsory safety equipment that MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES when participating in speed skating events and training. Skaters will not be permitted on the ice without it. These items are:
- helmet
- neck guard
- gloves
- knee pads
- shin pads
- cut-proof suit for higher grades
